“Paramount Plus with Showtime” has always been one of the more awkward bits of branding to come out of the streaming era, but soon subscribers will know the tier by another name. This week Paramount informed Paramount Plus subscribers that Paramount Plus with Showtime — the platform’s most expensive tier that features Showtime programming and minimal ads — will now be referred to as “Paramount Plus Premium.” The renamed tier will still cost $12.99 per month or $119.99 per year.
